I added belt buckle to the gold hardware to protect and add a wee bit of dimension
right shows silver on the white and below the belt buckle.. just a bit to dark I think, silver it is for both
I also tried one of my new Fusion stencils on the back, how sweet is this
Sheldon was back home by noon and a friend stopped for a visit soon after. I popped in to join them for a bowl of soup then was back out in the garage while they did a house/shop tour before he headed off. Sheldon was back to the shop working on the hitching rail while I waited for the dressers to dry after putting hardware back on. The blog got an update as well as a CM blog post on the curio cabinet. Time to start the dresser blogs as well.
hard to see but green dresser got a silver top and the white drawer fronts
There was also RMPC president duties, securing our club insurance and continuing on the darn jersey/jacket order. Holy cow things seem extensive to initially set up a new club! Britt was home just after 3 and promptly hit the sheets for a 2 hr nap. I braved the bitter wind to snap some pictures of the new hitching post catching the worker like this..
apparently he just sat down ;) Here it is safely secured thru the wall and 3 new 4X4 posts on the other side. here is his behind the scenes pic of mid progress
and my progress pics
helper Lola
and my blooming Japanese peonies
I had to roust Britt from her slumber to join us for supper and then we loaded up 3 horses to haul to chiropractor, all 3 were out. We coasted into the fuel station on fumes to fill for the trek back home. Release and inside where hockey consumed Sheldon, Britt headed downstairs and I worked on the many blog posts. The high of 12 dropped to 5 but the wind made it feel colder, I brought my plants in and Diego begged his way in for night # 2 back in the garage! Shaina arrived around 10 to spend the night to hit her 11 am shift tomorrow.
