another round of rain

Drizzly Saturday started with a coffee served in bed, thanks Prince. He did quickly dart out of the "germ" room to his hockey game. Curiosity about the rain had him checking and it seems we got 2.5/10ths overnight.. keep it coming.

I headed out to put yet another coat of yellow on the 2 custom pieces. Kevin came to pick up  bison and got the shop tour.

Britt hosed and rode in the arena. I went out to take Baby for a few rounds and check her feet. But as I bent over I tweaked something in my back, seems her and I are in about the same state now. I did manage to haul a straw bale over to put out in a treasure hunt but she was very miffed at this new choice. Back inside I did some accounting while Sheldon continued to look online for gates.

I rousted the troops to help in the garage, Britt bagged and stacked her bottles and Sheldon loaded the recyclables up and hauled to town. Britty is getting ready for Thailand and in her plans she was carry on only. She choose a few back packs online from Bass Pro and seems they have some in stock. Josh stopped to pick her up at 3 and they headed to the store to check them out. I planted more zucchini and beets, this drizzle is perfect to keep my seeds moist.

Sheldon was back around 4:30 with hot teas.. and a new quad pulled sprayer, and 600#s grass seed.. and a few groceries! I was painting the yellow pieces again. This clear base is such a bugger for coverage. The rain picked up again ;) After the teas I was back out starting to clear coat the pieces and he went out to load bales to take to the Valley for the bison tomorrow. Britt rolled in at 6 sporting her new back pack! The 3 of us loaded the little deep freeze to take to TJ.

Toasted BLT's and scrambled eggs were on tonights menu. The rain picked up pace around 7:30 as Britt ran down to help Lynda give her horse a shot. She was back in an hour then got ready to head out to a party.

Shaina finally took her birthday gift from last year home and hung in their new bathroom, looks awesome Dude!
