Renn bonus day

Harley wanted out yesterday at 6:30 AM and again today at 5 AM, likely due to the frozen bison treats I gave her. It appears another beautiful day awaits us. The three horses remained in the far winter pasture, and Roo stayed in the middle diet pen overnight, so there was no need to fit her mask today. Both Har and S were fed before we departed for the city at 10. Dave and Cooper arrived just as we were leaving.

We were a bit early for my 11:15 appointment, so we stopped for an iced coffee and a pumpkin spice muffin in Langdon. S took a nap in the car while I awaited my appointment. Unfortunately, being early didn't expedite the process, and I wasn't seen until almost noon, but the appointment was brief once the doctor arrived.

We had arranged to watch Renn to give K some time for housework, but it was Renn's nap time, so we proceeded to Costco instead. After shopping, we drove northwest and reached Renn's place by 2 PM. After a small fashion show with the clothes I brought, we headed to the park. We returned briefly for water we'd forgotten, then went out to the space between the condos. The laundry vent seemed clogged, so handyman S cleared it with a broom and ice chipper. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the neighboring complex's green space and park, enjoying the busy bee activities in the 26-degree weather.

I picked her up some super cute new sleepers at Costco

So cute!!

Back at the condo, we enjoyed some sing-along songs while S took a nap. Kaylin was having trouble with the adhesive around their master bedroom window frame from the Velcro on the A/C. I assisted by scraping it off with an Olfa blade and the orange oil I brought. I managed to remove about half of it but will bring a heat gun and some tools on Thursday to finish the job. By 5 pm, S and I decided to head east while they began preparing supper.

Feeling thirsty, we stopped at Tim's where I grabbed another iced coffee for S and decided to try the wild berry hibiscus lemonade, which I thoroughly enjoyed on the drive home. We arrived back at the ranch around 6:30, took care of feeding Harley and the cats, unpacked the groceries, and had leftovers for supper. After 7:30, while walking Harley down the lane, Dave and Cooper came for the night feeding. Bird was slow to eat again, and they didn't leave until around 9. I had been working on yesterday's post but switched to the comfortable bed to write today's entry. S, who had been browsing in the big brown chair, joined me to continue his reading. We then watched a move called Upgrade.
