Stouts game night

Harley was sick in the night. I was cleaning up puke and letting her out at 5:30 am. Cooper arrived at his new 6:45 am. The morning started with porridge and coffee for S, me just coffee and a shower. 

S and I took the dogs for a walk. Along the way he checked his mouse trap line at the gate control box. I checked the shelters for minerals/salt. The dogs love this weather and getting out. It was then plant watering and care day for me. Corso slime was washed off walls and some dusting done. S did filter care.

Sun was now out in full force and plus 5. S rolled out the new programmable light set. Plans did not go as we thought in putting them up. A break was taken to deliver that MDF dresser to a neighbor with the ranger. Back at the lights. After much pondering and different ideas I put the new rope lights along the west deck edge. A rope was put on the west bottle tree. S put the usual coloured lights along the house paddock rail. I put 3 new strands through the apple trees. It was a beauty day out!! Full sun and +7.

S put the red candy cane/ greenery on front pillars. He brought the angel and other decor pieces over. It is looking very festive around here. I cooked up chicken wings and sweet potato fries in the airfryer for supper. A partial bale was rolled with skid steer left at gate to do more another day.

Britt arrived as we were heading out the door to Stouts. A visiting card night was enjoyed. Of course Sharon had a new fancy cocktail for us.- honey crisp apple bourbon smash. And a hot phyllo dough filled with salami and provolone cheese. Always the hostess <3 Thanks guys for the enjoyable night. We headed for home at 11.
