Red sky in morning

B was even a bit later today dropping off Coop. The sky was on fire when Harley went out. A neighbor took this picture of it. The wind picked up soon after to hurricane strength blowing the deck chairs around but lessened after a bit. After coffee in bed it was time to get on with the day. S had another investment zoom call at 9. I got photos uploaded, edited and watermarked for yesterday's blog post.

He was then down to his 10 am zoom exercise class. My great customer picked up her mirror. I pulled out the recent MCM dresser I scored and put a coat of stripper on it. This finish is not removing easily. I covered it with plastic and left. After S call with Craig at 11 we headed to town. Trash was dropped at dump. I had to drop tests at the lab, prescription to pick up then a stop at Paetz's to pick up stuff for Mom. B had a huge tub of homemade bubble gum ice cream I left for the kids.

Next stop was to grab a case of beer - seems we are out LOL. S picked up a signal light bulb and a couple teas before we headed back to the ranch. Finally the sun peeked out making the plus 10 feel warmer.

Time to scrap the dresser top and neutralize it with water. The drawers were vacuumed out and hardware and wood designs removed. S hooked up the cargo trailer for tomorrow’s bison run. He also assessed the cracking stucco  on south end. I scrubbed the drawers inside and out and set to dry.

While all dried I came in and wrote a Hometalk post for the magnolia cake plate. It hit a high of 12 but the win stayed at a low bluster. I threw a frozen turkey casserole in the oven and we went for an early hot tub. Again good timing as the hurricane winds started up again when Bitt arrived for supper. We ate, skipped feeding Bird as it seems Gulliver has escaped and off she and coop went. We finished up Beckham.
