Bison pickup

S took Har for a walk while I helped with tablet issues. Candace joined for a coffee too. S and Carl ran to buy an insulated tarp. S and I loaded up Har and set off to load up the bison at 10. This process took way longer longer than necessary! Eventually we were loaded, paid and on our way west. I updated the spreadsheet and sent amounts owing to folks along the way. The new bison secretary jobs continue.

The wind picked up as we neared Brooks. We met John. Loaded his meat and had a short visit. We filled with fuel before grabbing a snack for the ride. The winds picked up even more. At the ranch after 2, we locked up the horses and opened the main gate for ease of pickup. It was not long before the first 2 trucks arrived to load their meat. The rest of the buyers trickled in with one couple popping in for a visit.

Britt and Dave were back before 4:30 from their shopping day. The couple enjoyed meeting Dave and hearing about horse racing. They were then off for the city. I cooked us up chili for supper. Dave kindly took the 1 Edmonton bison buyers 1/4 with him when he left at 7:30. THANKS Dave, that saved the fellow 7+ hours drive. We went for a hot tub, shower then continued the All the Light show.
