Another country concert

Today we are off to the city for errands and an evening out. We had our usual then suitcases loaded along with Harley and off to town to drop her at Britt’s. We also swung thru Tim’s to pick up a hazelnut latte as requested by the dog sitter and us teas. I ran H in after 10 then we took the north route to the city.

First stop was to pick up a filter pack at Caterpillar, return the computer at Costco then make our way to Kaylin and Nathan’s arriving at noon. We had a nice visit with Kaylin kindly sugaring me as well as touch up my nails I painted at her place and drew on my eyeliner. THANKS! Our next stop was at Market Mall to chow down on some Chinese food as it was now 2 pm. We did some shopping but just not feeling it in the busy mall. The weather was beauty at plus 6.

Spa chemicals and filters were picked up next then we arrived at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino hotel just after 4 as planned meeting time. We checked in then went to Randy and Yvonne’s room to catch up with beverages. They even had champagne and plastic flutes to cheers Sheldon’s health improvements.

We skipped supper seeing so much visiting at 8 we went to the concert room to get our seats. It was a great concert put on by Tyler Joe Millar as the opening artist followed by headliner Jess Moskaluke. 

After the concert ended we made our way to the cafe to finally eat. The fellows then bellied up to a card table to play their luck at 21. Both did well with S doubling his initial put in of $40. There also was a live cover band in the nearby bar that kept us entertained. We wrapped up the night and back to our rooms around 1:30.
