Riding lesson at the ranch

Another routine morning before our 11:30 riding lessons here at the ranch. I had 2 folks looking for nightstands within a hour of waking, crazy. Birthday wishes sent to Dale. I was out watering the garden after setting the sprinkler on trees when Britt was out at 11. We moved the others to the diet pen, caught our steeds, tacked up and were warming up when Anna arrived. Our lesson was good and perfect timing as it was starting to heat up as we finished up. It was 24 when I popped in after untacking, hosing and putting other back in the paddock and moving the sprinkler.

Britt fed Bird then rode Pepper and ponied Bird off for a jaunt. It continued to heat up 26 now. She and Coop were off to town after 2 dropping off my Etsy parcel, thanks! I tried the new fine mist sprayer and painted up the 4 sanded chairs. 

I finished up just as Shaina and Jacob arrived after 3 with her gym equipment. It was now 27 but moving the pieces up into the mez found it scorching up there WHEW!! Once it was all hauled up and some tires to boot we came into the glorious A/C for a cold beer and pizza. Shaina even jumped into the shower quick.

They were off back to the city at 4:30 so I headed back to the garage to touch up a bit and scrub up the paint sprayer. Next up was to scrub a salt shaker to go with the jumbo green pepper grinder that sold in short order. I hoped in the shower while it dried and gave it a coat of red once dry.

I was back to updating blogs/tutorials then put a 2nd coat on while catching a bit of news and eating some repeat supper #3. It was then on to Good Girls while back to computer work. I did go out and caught Switch before 9, fed her herbs and while doing so had Roo come in the barn with Bird outside. I had just looped the chain over and not fully hooking it and it seems someone... Roo, decided to come to the barn. I caught them both and put back in the paddock then muzzled up Switch and put her in and then KD who was now at the gate with Pepper hoping to escape for a bit too and eat the soft green grass in watered areas. Back inside it was Good Girls on the ipad time in bed actually shutting down after 10:30; record time!
