Another hot day at 31

After another ground hogs day start to my day (muzzle removal, cappuccino and marketing) I got busy on projects. It was a gorgeous 17 degrees when I was out after 8 but it is going to be a hot one. I put sprinkler on the birch tree again and was back in touching up the red pepper grinder then adding a 3rd coat.

Off to the garage to pack up the sprayer then get on to new projects. The chairs were hauled in and things tidied to start. The antique drum table had the base scraped, wood filled and the top scrubbed all up.

The recently acquired antique accent table was taken all apart, glue scraped, scrubbed and left to dry.

Tuna sandwich with an ice tea break then on to writing a Hometalk post for the green end table. The pepper grinder was finished up with dark wax and staged for the customer.

Then it was back to the garage for more projects. I pulled out the stencils I have for a metric growth ruler with family name for a quote for a gal from Hong Kong wanting it sent to her sister in Ft Mac. Outside next to sand the accent table tops and man is it a doozy out there at 29 degrees. I was happy to get back into the garage.

A few more touch ups on the drum table then it was time to move onto the little dresser. I have 2 people in line interested in it. I removed the hardware and glued, reset to center and clamped the drawer runners and frame. The drawers were hauled out into the heat but hunkering behind the stairs to sand thru the shellac. This only went so far then it was time for the scraper. That was a workout yikes. I came in at 4 for a cold mountain dew and cool down. It was now 31!

I staged & posted the dining table and worked on tutorials again taking more pics. Seeing the zucchini was gone I made some spaghetti to g with the meat sauce. Looks like I will have enough of both for meal 4 and 5! LOL

The Good Girls kept me company eating and typing until Britt arrived around 7:30. She wanted to ride and I said when cooler, guess now that it is only 29 we are good. I changed and headed out as she caught Bird and did her feet and fed her. I had her help me unload the heavy baler reel out of the truck box then I hooked up the horse trailer. I am taking her horses and mine to Moore's tomorrow.

I caught Switch and she too was annoyed with the nose flies like Bird and was happy to be in the barn to eat her herbs. We will not ride as the nose flies have them all out of sorts. Muzzle went on when released and KD's was put on. B then caught Roo to tweak her feet while I watered my garden and pots. She and Cooper were off by 9. It was a gorgeous evening other then the darn bugs. I finished up plucking weeds and leaves and came in around 9:30. Time for more Good Girls on to season 2.
