Election Day

SO today is election day, who will be our new prime minister... we will all know tonight! I got busy with marketing for the morning with a jaunt out to give Daisy her pill after S failed. NO more magpies in his trap today either. We headed to town after 10:30 to pick up salt for the horses, drop off a bag at the rummage sale, pick up a book at Amanda's and VOTE.

Back home by noon, I started work on lettering on the magazine rack doing one side and leaving to dry well before flipping.

S enjoyed a nap in big brown before and after our turkey lunch. He was then packed up and off to the airport before 2. I hauled the salt to the garage and took a tub to the horses who were in for water. The day is sunny but a brisk 8 again. Back inside with a yummy cappuccino I wrote a blog tutorial for the pink & white nightstand then posted to the proper sites.

Kaylin had ordered a dark stained growth ruler for a friend's baby gift so I got started on it staining both sides and leaving to dry for 3 hours before applying a 2nd coat. In between coats I did the other side of the magazine rack. A lady messaged she was interested wanted to pop out and see the black end tables. I had left them in the cargo trailer as they once again got a few dings in transport so hauled them in and quickly did the touch ups. I was scrubbing up the geometric table when Shaina rolled in after 7:30.

She ate and visited as we watched the election results roll in. It was sad news as the liberals won and then the black end table lady messaged they were to big for her spot and Shaina had a few cancelations for training tomorrow. Dang it all! This calls for a yummy smoothie!!

I headed off to bed to start my new book I am Hutteritte while she continued her computer work before retiring to her room. I am enjoying this book probably because I have a slight understanding of the Hutterite life.
