Day 3 at the new house for B

I think I slept solid til 6:50m yeah! Then I was awake cruising around Instagram and playing a few cookie jam games before the prince woke and turned on the coffee. B was tuckered after hiking out to find Cooper when she let him out at 7 and not returning with him till 20 minutes later. They both went back to bed.

It was a slower start today with her dragging her heels. I got the giveaway prize out of the cargo trailer and got it all wrapped up to be dropped at the gal's in Langdon when S goes to pick up his dump trailer. We loaded up B's TV and IKEA stands in the truck and she, Cooper and I were off to town before 10. Of course we passed thru McDonald's drive thru for B's morning coffee (she does not like prince's brew) and her muffin. She bought us a coffee too. Thanks B! S swung by Sobey's to pick up the rug cleaner and met us at the house.

Today was yet another busy day of house change ups. S worked on rug cleaning all the carpeted areas while I started cutting in the last spare room for its second coat. It took two hours to do so. B ran for another gallon of paint and started rolling once back. I moved to the bathroom to cut in there but halfway thru took a lunch break as it was now after 1. Pizza from last night and a cold beer were perfect.

The telus guy arrived to hook up internet and TV and Amanda and the 2 littles stopped for a quick tour. B and I finished painting the bathroom and were done painting! (the upstairs) She moved on to a good bathroom scrub down. I helped by steaming the tub and a crazy stubborn wax like blob under the sink.

S was pretty excited that the sports channels were on for baseball and hockey viewing with more beer. He did manage to assemble the IKEA TV stand while doing so.

Through out the day I continued my oil rubbed bronze spraying of the door knobs, strike plates, door stops and one light fixture. Once done it was time to put all back on. It was then onto white spray for a few outlets and the floor vents.

B ran a couple of loads of laundry thru her "new" machines with success. Onto the main floor, B vacuumed it all again before we started her last IKEA stand. It ended up with us all working on it by the last steps. We wrapped it up before 9 loading stuff to come back here and the rug cleaner. S took it back and we set for home with a quick trip thru the tims drive thru for a pumpkin spice tea. We were back home by 9:30 with another long day of home improvements under our belt.

I tried reading the next new book, The 100 year old man jumped out the window and disappeared but it was only so so so I started a new Netflix series called Trinkets.
