River ride

Britt had taken today off work to trail ride with Prissy (our friend from Texas up here for polox) but it fell thru. After letting Cooper out late at 8 today she was back to bed. I had my 2 cappuccinos while marketing and writing a tutorial for the bread box before I rousted her at 11. We are going to still go riding but just down at the river.

We caught and loaded up Switch and Bird and headed south before 1; tacked up and on the trail by about 1:20. It was a great ride even if we did get rained on. We saw lots of cows on the trails and pushed allot of bush in our hour ride.

Back at the trailer and the horses untacked, Grady met us with a cold beer for a visit. We had the mares loaded and back home before 4. Hot bowl of soup or 2 (B) for early supper then B loaded up Cooper and was off for home to work tomorrow after 4:30.

The evening was so lovely I headed out to water all the pots, gardens and back flower bed by hand. Seeing I had another zucchini I spiralized them up and had a delicious plate full. I followed it up with a yummy smoothie, a soak in the tub watching another Animal Kingdom then updating the blog while watching another and finished season one before calling it a night.
