Happy St Paddy's day all. Cooper was up at 7:20, she let him out then back in his kennel to eat and she was back to bed. He however had other plans after eating so I was up and let him and Lola (who was still damp after her bath) out in the sunshiney morning. Facebook alerted me to a death just down the road in the early morning closing Hwy 817 for the day.
Marketing as usual, tonight is draw #2 then off to sand the sofa table quick. I moved the backdrop around and hauled out stuff to stage it,
B was not up until late again and eventually headed out to check Roo's leg. She gave all some oats and a shedding brush and check over. This is when she found ANOTHER issue with miss Roo, terrible scabs under her tail dock. This poor girl seems to have had an allergy to something that has caused all this scabbing and itching. B did notice hives when in her stall and assumed allergy to straw. She added polysporin to the irritated scabs.
Next staging the end tables then haul them in, B helped move the sofa table in after I clear waxed the top, thanks B!
While on the horse care she gave Pepper his spring sheath cleaning, poultice Roo's leg again too. She finished up as I was bringing the barbecued steaks off the barbecue and served with Caesar salad. She ate quick and her and Cooper were off before 1:30 to get home to meet a gal to sell some of her school books to.
I worked on writing the nightstand blog post and other marketing stuff till Candace arrived after 4. She first got rerouted as the hwy was still closed but I had her go back and ask to be allowed to our place. Sheldon phoned saying her heard it was a shooting of a 20+ native fellow. The highway opened about half our later finally. We enjoyed an evening visiting over refreshments and pizza till after 11 (when I finally got Lolal in). Always fun to catch up. Unfortunately Reese who she dropped at airport for his trip to Spain was caught in the Toronto airport fire delay and missed his flight but managed to get on one to London. Good thing for texting as he able to stay in touch with Candace thru it all.
I also had to wrap up my Fusion paint giveaway just after 8:30 end time choosing one of Britt's vets as the winner. congrats Erin.
