first ride out of the yard this season

Shaina was off to a first aid course today grabbing a coffee and some fruit to take along. We enjoyed our coffee relaxing in bed for a bit. S then tried to source some new barbeque parts while I worked on marketing.

Looks like Roo is back in the herd ;)

Snow is melting like crazy giving the horses their pond to paddle in.

I cooked us up some turkey meatballs with our new Hello Fresh for lunch while S went out to start each of the farm equipment pieces.

After lunch S had his nap while I wrote blog posts then he headed out to continue the spring prep. Shaina was back from her course before 3. She ate then she and I went out to ride. What a gorgeous day to ride although little S had cold ears part of the time. We ventured right out along the busy highway where Lola caught a gopher right in front of us and looped around the winery. As we came back along an icy ditch, Switch had a slip but scrambled to get her footing and kept us upright, good girl!

Shaina snapped this one

S was working on his baler project when we got back just before 5. Little S came in after untacking and letting them out and started getting supper on the go as she has to leave for boot camps soon. I gave Roo her meds before coming in. Sheldon joined us soon to eat smokies and perogies then Shaina was off to her boot camps then home. S hit the TV room for the Flames game while I worked on boring old accounting.

Sheldon forgot to submit a couple pictures from bathing Roo the other day

Kaylin sent this cute photo of the dogs listening to Kyle whistle thru the phone
