27 with a chance of rain

I left Lola out last night as garage was so hot and she did not bad for patrol barking. Up at 8, my morning project was to stencil the dresser. The handles were given another coat and sanded once dry.

Shaina stopped out after 2 and we  took KD and Switch out for a conditioning ride. It was a hot one at 27 so once we were done I hosed Switch before sending her back out. Shaina ate some of my fried rice and was off to workout lessons before 4. The skies started to look threatening but they only threatened. I put a clear coat of poly on the dresser.

The storm finally blew in at 7 and rain came down soon after. Of course this was right when Britt was getting home from work about 7:15. I had salmon supper ready, perfect for the now 19 temps which dropped from 27.

After supper I put a second coat of poly on the dresser and finally could open the garage doors once the rain let up. I checked and we had 1/2" in that half hour rain and was now 17 but hail eluded us, knock on wood.

I finished up my blog post for the jewelry armoire and worked on others including this one. The garage was 27 all day but finally dropped to 23 when I went out to lightly sand the dresser and get Lola in ;)
