Thelma and Louise road trip # 2

Again the sun was blazing but the temperatures were -15 upon waking, time for coffee. Sheldon was then off to town for doctor and errands but he did bring home burgers and onion rings for lunch! I got started on the TV stand putting driftwood milk paint on.

milk paint mixing, dry powder on right, mixed on left

I had scrubbed up a chunky salt and pepper set last night so painted them up today to match the bread box.

After our lunch Sheldon ventured out to organize the shop and I tried a 2nd coat on tv stand. However it was not dried enough to not lift so I moved on to tagging items for the booth and marketing.

The two work buddies who were picking up bison arrived around 5:30. We all enjoyed a good visit with pizza and beverages. They loaded up their meat just after 8 and were off and we loaded up Lola and Coco and were close behind. We grabbed a chai tea for the road and arrived at Britt's just after 9:30.

Both days were so excited as Coco enjoyed her 2 week stay last time and Lola loves being an indoor dog. She slept on the cushy leather couch by herself after snuggling with Britt for awhile and Coco had the cushy big leather chair and Britt on the big couch. She kindly gave her parents her comfy bed. Thanks B!
