another lovely day to ride

Awoke to sunshine and even less snow today. It did go to just below freezing last night. They say today is last chinook day and temps will get cooler going forward. Projects on the go today were to repaint the table apron, wax it and haul all the pieces in to stage..

Next project in the cue .. the large hutch. I took off the backing, took all the glass out and the light fixture and filled the old hardware holes after removing them. Best way to update is paint then new hardware.

Britt rolled in at 3 as I was eating a late lunch. She chowed down and we were off in the sunshine to ride. What a beauty day for it! We caught Bird and Switch after our ride. I trimmed Switch while Britt put on the first ride of the year in the arena then I trimmed Birdy.

5:30 and still a bit light out, yes! I had her help me move the hutch top to a paint table before we came in for a pizza supper.
