Day 783 started VERY early. Britt is going to try working 2 jobs, today she starts the second one at the local racetrack training stables at 7 am!! Judy the owner of Primera Racing Stables wanted to meet me and just show me the place and the dangers she may encounter. (mainly big strong high strung Thoroughbreds!) Her and I were up and each drove our cars to the stable. I think this is right up her alley and should build some muscles.
I left at 7:30, grabbed teas for Coreena and I and was off to work, the earliest I have ever been there :-) It was an uneventful work day and at noon it was off for errands. Britt had stopped at my work so followed me again. She filled her car with gas, I restocked liquor cabinet, grabbed prescriptions and mail and off we headed home.
Shaina had left for work at 8:30 leaving the Aussie guests sleeping. I had put out cereal but forgot bowls and spoons, poor fellows washed a dirty dish and took turns eating hahaha. She said the masons were there when she left. The fellows were just waiting for a cab when we got home and took off to town at 12:30.
Britt tacked up Julio and Bird and we headed out for a conditioning run. The storm clouds swirled and after a morning of rain and threatening they eventually blew away making a warm day. Britt and I made a new grazing pen along the side of the shop. The mason boys headed home at 6:45.
I made shake and bake chicken with rice and veggies for our guests as well as Rachel when they all arrived home just before 7. They all went to play pool while I replanted the finished side plants and watered all in. It is looking really nice. I also put the horses back in the pen before making Britt and I some yummy vitamix frozen yogurt.
Shaina, Rachel, Sam and Adam left for the city to hit the casino at 9. Britt and I just relaxed watching TV. The rain started at 11 bringing bright thunderstorms. The crew arrived home at midnight.
