St Patty’s Day

Sunny Sunday St Patty’s day started -1 but ended up PLUS 16. We did our usual coffee and brain games then prepped for church. I threw in another horse blanket to was then worked on another blog post but needed more photos so I’ll do after. At church we met and sat with Paetz's. After church there was a pancake breakfast put on by the KC and bake sale by CWL.

Back at the ranch Britt had arrived with Cooper and Gully and checking on horses. I hung out the blanket and washed another. S hit big brown and was sound asleep. I finished day 3 of the trip and published. Britt and I jumped in her car and headed to the city. She wanted to get house items. First stop was HomeSense; a store we both love so it took awhile to see all the new stuff.

We also went next door to Jysk (which is like IKEA) where. Found some cute chairs. They had a great deal on them but B did not think they would fit in her car. Next was sunridge mall. I found a couple goodies in Winners and used my Xmas gift card from Ma & Pa, THANK YOU!! B exchanged shoes, found a couple things at Winners before we ate at the food kiosk. We both took home half of our pad Thai.

On way to the car we zipped thru sport check for B to try on runners then it was off home. Back at the ranch S was just in from his day grading the yard and partial road. He also walked the dogs, cleaned hot tub filters and cleaned the garage floor on the car side. A productive day for him too.

How about mashed potatoes Renn?

B hung the washed horse blanket, fed her horses, loaded her animals and headed home. S and I ate leftovers then hit the hot tub in the plus 16 sunshine.

Did you know you can use castor oil to help pain? I am using my liver pack wrapped around my sore knee and it sure helps.

Beauty day before this week deep freeze forecast. Hockey now consumed the rest of the night for S. I published another blog post of our first day home with Renn visiting. Just before bed as I was making yogurt bowls I remembered the bones simmering so packaged them up in tubes. To bed to read while S watched more hockey.
