Home day :(

Today is sadly home day. I was awake early as usual as were D & T. I jumped in the shower and off to read in the sun. S caught a bit longer sleep time in the sheets. Today is a beauty day, of course right? We finished our packing. I had yogurt and berries. The rest their usual oatmeal berries and S finished the yogurt too.

The car was packed up and we set off east at 10:30. We stopped at the Playa Costa Azul again to get in the last bit of sand sun and ocean. Fuel was gotten along the way to the airport with the car dropped off and shuttled to the airport right as planned: noon.

deep reflection in progress

fuel is about $2/lt there

Check in was easy as was security. The hits come once inside for food. We had planned to eat lunch on the way but having had breakfast no one was hungry then but the smells inside had all starving. A foot long sub- $360 pesos or $30 CND. For a sub. A burger combo even more. We opted to share a plate of Panda Express and a cup of ice (the water spout did not work LOL) for $317 pesos ($26.50 CND) with await of 20 minutes.

The boarding was done thru an actual tunnel to the plane. New for us, no 5 min cattle liner bus ride. No headphones no movie for me. S watched Meg 2 a stupid shark movie. I did finished my Lessons in Chemistry book (great read) just after we lifted off so resorted to games. The good thing on airplane mode is no ads.

In this hot desert the golf courses stick out vividly

but the rest is dry dry dry

We landed at 7:53 new time and it was still a bit dusky. Cabo does not observe day light savings. However by the time we got thru customs, baggage and to Anderson’ car before 9, it was dark and sleeting if you can believe it. Plus 2 but dropping. They dropped us at our car 5 minutes away, THANKS guys!!! Gas is 148.9!!! WTH On the way home I preordered Tim’s sweet chili wrap/bowls and teas in Chestermere. This hit the spot and we got it all for just over $20! LOL

daily Renn dose

Home was 0 and dry, no snow or rain :( Harley was excited to see us at 10. We had a stack of mail and parcels. S got his hockey going and I watered my plants. My poor fiddle was not doing well at all with 4 plus yellow leaves and bone dry. One of the parcels was a nail file… in a huge box couriered. Now that is some warranty!! Another was a new soft head for our Dyson Stick vacuum. The final parcel was my liver pack kit. I got it all prepped and put it on. Have you heard of a Castor oil liver pack? We finally headed to bed where S caught up on sports online and I started a new book The Women.

the shiner now has some green as Toby predicted
