The day started sunny but then overcast and quite brr at -10ish. After the usual start and coffee I got busy clear coating the dining table top right in the main room. After perusing his online news S ran the vacuum around the main floor staying away from the dining area so not to roust dust into my clear coat. I applied 1 coat with a sponge and 1 with a brush but still see the darn streaks that drive me nuts.
We had leftovers for lunch then he loaded up his hockey equipment and headed to town for the 1:30 shinny. I published the
boot rack tutorial then did the appropriate shares before heading out to the garage. I cut small pieces of wood and glued to underside of the accent table and left to dry.
Moving to the vanity I wood filled the front edges I had glued the did more sanding on the base. After damp wiping I put it up on the white table and started the grey painting coverage. The drawer fronts had a second coat.
Throughout the afternoon I corresponded with the new table owner in regards to chairs and such and was n at 3:33 to offer we could bring the table next week with the cargo trailer when we go to get bison. This saves them a trip so she was super stoked. S arrived home from shinny with a new library book for me and our new instapot/air fryer. He hit big brown for an internet peruse and short nap while I tried rollering on the high end clear coat after getting ideas from a fellow DB ambassador. It looks good actually but fingers crossed to see in the daylight as getting dark now.
At 4:44 (another angel number) I turned on the TV to find the gold game just starting. S was awake now and thankfully I turned it on as he thought on tomorrow. I cooked up his requested mushroom zucchini casserole which was ready to eat mid second period. He moved to TV room while I washed up pots and pans then joined him to watch the 3rd period.
The game went into a nail biting overtime with Canada winning!!! We then went for a hot tub, shower and finished the season of Down Under. S requested Madoff next but soon was sleeping so lights out.
