Day 6 - 2-2-2022

I saw the sunrise today but only from the room balcony. I jumped into the shower to warm up as still feeling under the weather. S once awake made coffee then he ventured down to grab the elusive chairs by the adult pool. I was excited to see I had an Etsy sale of the green pepper grinder then I went down to sit in the chairs as he was having breakfast. 

The wales were busy this am blowing and tail flunking but quite a ways away. The chairs were not as desirable as we had imagined as it was like being in a wind tunnel. The music did change up today to a techno beat mixed with pop and Spanish.

S was in and out of the pool between naps. I even managed to drift off for a brief nap I think too. I filled out the ArriveCan forms for our trip. I even got into the pool again :) We chatted with people from Red Deer before going for a late lunch at 2. S was then back in the pool. I headed up after 3 to check in for our flight tomorrow ;( I did however get us seats 5A & 5B then I headed back down to join S in the hot tub.

After showering we enjoyed a drink on the premium deck and saw the him/him couple get wedding photos taken on this 2-2-2022 day. I never thought about the great date number till this trip.

Our supper tonight was in the Mexican restaurant and this time S was happy with his meal. I have hit my all inclusive food limit and could not eat much of each dish. The wedding supper was held here too but was very small.

There was even a bit of rain tonight which makes it easier to leave tomorrow. After supper we sat around the fire pit for the first time this week. It was a bit chilly so I wore my winter jacket. The first couple we met was from Montana for a 4 day trip with connecting flights. The next 3 were Calgary employees of Flair which has 3 inaugural flights coming in Saturday and they are setting it all up. Neat to hear the behind the scenes of it all. Time to pack up a bit of stuff in our bags so not as to use up morning time doing so.
