Brrr like day

It was lightly snowing when we awoke for our scrabble coffee start. It did let up but off and on all day it returned mostly in rain form. I had to package up the silverware chest building my own box then get the shipping label and my tracking sheets all updated. S enjoyed a relaxing morning after tossing hay just before a rain squall was back.

We made the pork banh mi burgers for lunch. My sous chef was the chopper. I also got the turkey soup on the go too. Britt stopped out just as we sat down to eat. She picked up parasite meds I had ordered for Lola and Cooper then did her horse chores then took my parcel to town for me. Thanks B for the pick up and parcel drop off for waiting in the long line to do so.

I had to wrestle the pills into Lola clearly not thinking about the turkey trimming I would have later from the carcass silly me but I got them in her belly. I then worked on tutorials, blog posts and photo organization. S headed out mid afternoon to start his kick wall project.

B was back at 4 to give Bird her mid day tummy meds then just like that she was gone. Here is wall progress at her place once D got more trim. Now just to fill cracks and caulk possibly for the last coat of paint. Well done guys!

I finished up the soup as S came in at 6:30 to join me for hot soup on a drizzly cold day. I wrote a tutorial on Hometalk for the grey dining table. After tossing evening hay we watched Daddy's Home. It was a cute movie.
