Vacation plans changed

So I woke early pondering our choice of Maui. Both couples have been before and when thinking of all the things we did when there for 2 weeks I was restless on what we would do this time as couples so I touched base with Sharon saying I was searching out other direct flight options. Belize popped up with a direct flight home but would be shortened to a week. This seemed like a new adventure and more appealing. SO it was then time to work out the details and before 11 I had us seats on a WestJet flight to Belize!!

S needed another part for the gate so ran to town and picked up groceries for his BLT hankering. Once back, bringing us a hot chai tea too (thank you!!) the bacon was cooked up and sandwiches devoured. He was off to rest in big brown for his afternoon nap and I headed out to put a clear coat on the coffee table with a second coat later in the evening. The horses were in so ran out to give pills and check them out. All are good at -16.

Before supper S went and pushed snow on the road while I continued my search for accommodations in Belize. A friend is currently there for 2 months and also has a daughter that lives there so she was HUGE help to Sharon and I as we plunked away at narrowing them down. S was off to TV room to watch big Flames and Oilers game. By 9 we had it narrowed down to Cocoplum Beach House or a Button Wood Aquarious or Southwater Room. Which would you choose? Oh yeah Cocoplum is half the price of the rooms, does that change your mind?

However as I was giving S the pros and cons of each I also threw in another option Donna sent with a pool but not on the beach, Latitude Adjustment. Each cabana has a king bed and kitchenette and hammock and even cheaper then the Cocoplum. This one now seems to be in the lead, hmmm. Flames ended up winning making S very happy and able to sleep like a baby while I watched YouTube videos while pondering our accommodations in Belize.
