Family supper

Fogged in good when we awoke. Prince put on the coffee for his Tuesday relaxing morning internet peruse. This is his catch up on rest day. He eventually moved to the island then big brown after lunch. I sent the photo of the table to the gal that gave it to me and she wants to buy it back ;)

The fog let up before noon then it lightly snowed.

Shaina was on a business call so I headed out after 12 seeing the horses had come in. I gave Pepper his pill then took Daisy in to start her trim. Once off her call S joined me rasping toes and helping fit her to a new blanket. B is in the city and had found a hood to attach to keep her neck warm on this impending cold snap. We finished up and back in the house before 2.

Shaina ate lunch then hustled to get ready and was off for her days training around 2:30. S tried to nap in big brown but was not as successful as usual. Deciding we needed a fire he ventured out to grab the hatchet to chop a few kindling pieces but first rolling a bale.

Grama and Papa drove in as S finished rolling a partial bale out. S started a fire as I ran out and tossed out more piles of hay from the rolled out bale so everyone gets a pile. We enjoyed the warm fire seeing it was very windy and -8 outside with a wind chill. The egg lady delivered Shaina's egg and alerted me to a parcel at the gate that S kindly ran and picked up. It is paint so can not freeze.

many new products in the Fusion line to try

Britt and Dave arrived after 6:30 having grabbed lettuce and more shells for the taco supper I was cooking. It is a favorite meal of many a Kuhn. Shaina arrived for her share after 7 as the fellows were having dessert. A nice visit was had around the fire. B and S went out to try on the hood and blanket in the blustery night. Both fit and were left on Daisy and Bird for the cold snap coming. Britt and Dave headed home around 9 to spend time with Cooper who had to stay home now that he is in non limp mode.

Most went to bed at 10 but of course I had to start a movie on Crave seeing it is cancelled later this week. I chose Fantastic Beasts; The Crimes of Grindelwald. It was a good time to charge my Fitbit too but with 10 minutes left in our (Shaina and I) daily challenge I pulled my watch off the charger and got stepping seeing she had caught up to me circling the pool table down stairs. She popped upstairs and we both were giving 'er around the main floor with me winning by mere steps! I watched some more of the movie but shut it down at 1.
