Happy Mother's Day

Up early on this Mother's Day. Mom was need nail trimmers so I put on the coffee and let out Lola. Of course Cooper was then ready to join his buddy. Britt stayed up to have coffee and visit with us. She headed back to bed when we all got ready for the day.

We loaded the navy table into Mom and Dad's truck and got it safety strapped for the trip back to Oyen. Thanks Mom and Dad for your great delivery service. The 3 of us were then off to town arriving at the church at 9:30 where I we secured a whole row for the Paetz family that was running behind with a sick master Archer. After the church service, I dropped off the Etsy tile package at the post office and picked up a parcel for Britt before heading to the Paetz house.

The next couple hours plus were spent visiting, eating and playing lots of eye spy ;) Thanks for the lovely lunch Paetz family. Congrats to Asher on her first communion.

fancy dresses don't slow this girl down!!

Ada took this picture!! (I only cropped it)

I headed for the ranch picking up the mail and getting home at 2:30. B had betadine bathed Pepper and Daisy (who had since rolled in dirt) and had ran to Lonestar to pick up minerals/salt. She was back not long after me. We got quotes for a few tack items she had posted for sale.

Shaina, Kaylin and Jacob along with Lexi and Savannah arrived bearing Chinese food for supper around 4:30. It was so nice to not have to cook all day yet have such yummy food. Kaylin was asleep on the couch in no time, the rest of us visited and relaxed. Dave joined us after 6 to eat and visit.

Savanah's first time seeing a horse

Shaina, Jacob and I caught horses and went riding, Dave and Britt caught and fed Bird and caught and worked with Roo on her spraying lessons. Kaylin woke and came out to enjoy the lovely evening. We had a really nice ride back around 9.

Savanah is quite comfortable at the ranch

Jacob snapped this lovely photo

Britt and Dave were just loading up and heading home. We let horses out and joined Kaylin inside for a cold beer and more visiting before they all loaded up and were off for home before 10.

I did some quick marketing then hit my bed to continue the Bundy interviews.
