guests at the bed and breakfast

A lovely sunny day, I moved the truck and water on the trees needing a better tank angle for the syphon. One cappuccino to start the day and some marketing then it was out to work on the tables. The tops were stained one last coat, this is because I am now all out of that color ;) but think they will look good. On to the base, I went with grey.

Next it was on to hauling the furniture out of my car, snapping a few pics and finding a spot to store it. It was then time to tidy the house for my evening guests. My paint parcel arrived, I have to go hold Lola as this is the driver petrified of dogs. He even calls the house to ask I come out LOL. I cut some fresh tulips too for the kitchen.

Another coat of grey went on. I finished up just as Candace pulled in just after 3. We spent the next couple hours visiting over a beer and eventually a spinach salad before she was off to her childhood friends prayers after 5.

Candace brought treats... I did crater and have a half a sugar as you see LOL

I was going to hop in the shower but decided I better sand distress the table bases before doing so. Then I jumped in the shower quick. Ma and Pa K arrived after 6 making sure they arrived in time for the Raptors game. They had a quick bite to eat and enjoyed the game from the TV room.

The dining table was to be picked up at 7 but just after she messaged she totally forgot, was at a friends birthday and had left there truck at the mechanics overnight so would not be making it. Another day it is. I went out and gave the horses their supplements. Again another beautiful night.

Back in I wrote up the blog then did my modified workout. After the Raptors won, Ma K and I had a cup of tea while Papa caught the sports highlights before we headed to bed. Candace was back before 11, a quick visit and she toto was off to bed.
