Christmas Day

Merry Christmas everyone!! I was up early after our late game night but not as early as Dave who left for the track at 5ish. I got stuff tidied up and gifts arranged. Britt joined me and we had a coffee and visit. I joked Sheldon the rest were up and he joined the two of us around 10:30.

 We swapped gifts and enjoyed a relaxing morning. Kaylin was next to join in and Travis as I got breakfast / brunch on the go around noon. 

The rest were rousted and Dave was now back from leaving very early to go train the horses and all had lunch. 

 Gifts were opened then they were on to playing a game Britt got as a gift from Kaylin, TJ was off to stop at Amanda’s before heading home.

S caught a nap while I sorted gifts and food to go to town as well as parcels for Oyen to be loaded and taken in too. Jacob was off to Banff at 3 to join his family. Sheldon and I took in a spare table and chairs to Amanda’s around 3:30. TJ was still there so he kindly took the lamps that sold to a gal in Oyen for me. I filled moms truck with stuff to go and we then got the fun festivities started with the Paetz family and Mom. The girls and their fellows joined us soon after. It was a very delicious meal followed by games and desserts.

Snow started to fall after supper and by the time we all loaded up to head home after 11 it was coming down pretty good making for a slow drive home. Britt and Dave loaded up and made the slow snowy trek home as tomorrow is a big race day. The girls stayed up to play Wii while the rest went to bed.
