Today it was a 28 scorcher in the bleachers, very toasty for jeans! We enjoyed Lion's beef on a bun then one cold drink before getting the set up for day 2 of running with the bulls.
Tonight's performance did have the usual rolls and tumbles but one very drunk gal had a complete knock out near the end. She was taken to Foothills. People … follow the rules.. do not get shit faced and run with the bulls, it will not turn out well.
No time for the usual post drink team rally as the Illingworth's fly home tonight. They changed out of their cowboy clothes and we were off to the airport dropping them off with plenty of time, thanks for the great week of catching up and adventures friends!
We then headed back to the rodeo grounds to kick back with a cold drink, move the trucks back to the VIP parking lot
and ended up stopping at SPR camp (the fellows who delivered gravel this last week) for a drink and stayed long enough to watch the fireworks from atop of their brand nee shiny hydroseeder.
I drove us safely home after midnight, got the dogs inside and crawled into bed wrapping up yet another fabulous day.
Kaylin spent the day at the Chasing Summer concert and shared her fun makeup for the event
