1 year

I left Lola out overnight which did result in a disrupted sleep but only because I hear every noise and not just from her occasional patrols. Today is smoky but nothing like yesterday. With my vanilla hazelnut coffee and creamer I was off to work in the garage on the hutch and buffet. Another coat of warm white went on then all sanded smooth once dry. This is where I get my workout Dude ;)

The purple nightstand was not quite what I wanted for glazing finish once I put the hardware back on and hauled it in so it got another coat of paint on the top and shelf.

Remember when the neighbor stopped for rhubarb? today she dropped this delicious smelling pie off, THANKS Tash!! Guess what is on my supper menu? ;)

Of course I had to do a touch up on the hutch too that had me repainting a whole side :) OCD is not a painters best attribute.

I sauted up a freshly pick zucchini to go with my taco salad for supper,  Dave's is making Britt supper. The horses did not move around allot today as 28 so I had to walk out and give Hawk his meds. I then tossed them a flake of hay each as the poor grass is dried right up. While they ate I tweaked KD and Daisy's front feet.

Back inside I sanded the nightstand top I had repainted quick and added another clear coat then headed back out to water plants. When I brought Lola in for the night I put another coat of stain on the buffet too. I held off having pie till everyone was home but the smell made me have a piece.. or two, sooooo good. B was not home till after 10 but then hustled to get stuff ready for this weekends tournament at the door and loaded in the trailer. I relaxed and caught some more Amazing Interiors. Have you watched this series? There are some crazy and some unique homes in this world and some people have too much $$$.

Today marks one year without Coco, many days I swear I hear her little jingly collar or think I best let her in or out ;(
