Mom & Dad's 50th wedding anniversarry

Today is Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary, WOW! Congrats..

We were up and at it loading up goodies to take to Oyen to celebrate and when Shaina arrived after 10 she helped us load the jumbo dresser to take along as well. The truck was stuffed.. a chair for auntie Barb was wrapped and put upside down and it became Coco's princess bed for the ride. We stopped in town to get drinks and a muffin for our days food till supper it turned out.

The drive along the river was rough requiring a couple stops to check the dresser int he back but finally by 1:30 we arrived at Spide's. She had a strong neighbor there to help and with him, Shaina, Sheldon, Spide and me we got it placed safely in her dining room.. success. Britt wrangled Coco ;) We stayed for a quick catch up and cold drink, thanks Spider!

The next stop was Mom's to drop off bags, dog and change into party clothes before heading into the seniors center to set up and start the celebration. A delicious family supper for 24 was had after the successful family pictures.

Guests arrived around 8 and the evening was visiting and photo ops till around 11 then time to clean it all up, head to Mom & Dad's and sort all the food away before finally hitting the sheets around 1! Very full day of celebrating this momentous event.
