B heads to the PBR

Of course it is Saturday and I am awake at 7:45, WTH. ;) I did enjoy an instant message visit with Mom over a coffee before I got productive. The cute little divided drawer got a good power sand, hand sand on inner areas and then another great scrub and left to dry again. I hauled the now dry and much cleaner crates inside, now where to display them.
The fellow who purchased the jumbo chalkboard took a drive in the sunshine to pick it up.
Time to start painting, I chose to start with the dresser in my new Fat color, greysful. This took most of the day as it is a beast and got 2 full coats.

wet paint in front and dry in back

I tried a new way to paint for the first coat and it worked well
I love to see well made pieces, and the legs screwed out for easy painting

B had a lazy day, doing some laundry, running to the lab to get a quick blood test to check rabies vaccine worked then get fancied up for her big night out on the town in Lethbridge at the PBR. I had to talk her into going, this child is a hermit like her mother and needs coaxing to get out in the social world. Interesting how each child of same parents/family are so different but fun to see. She ventured down to the windy city at 4. She did grab the mail on way home from town and I had 2 parcels!
hardware and a skin system to try and evaluate for Chantelle
The day went from overcast to sunny but the chinook winds blew for most of it creating a high of PLUS 16! There is only about 3 gallons of snow on the entire 80 acres. I finished up the dresser's final coat, finished tidying the kitchen and vacuuming and had a quick snack before hitting the shower and relaxing with Netflix.
