pickup day

I awoke with a start as a lady was to be here first thing but turned out after I was all dressed and ready she was passing on the item. Oh well I was ready, I put another coat of wax on the jewel box and staged a few pics for my page and packed it up along with the jumbo vintage frame she ordered too.

I was soon off to town to drop them off to the buyer, pick up another load of parcels at the mail, grabbed a tea and was off to Cross Iron. I stopped to drop off family photos to be printed at Costco then was off to the mall to meet Lori B. We spent the next 5 hours catching up over lunch and a chai tea then headed to Costco where I gave her a pic and we checked out the books before she was off. I finished up my basket load and ventured out on the now wet highways. December 9th and it is misty out!! and the high was PLUS 7, hence the rain!

My next stop was to pickup a dining set from a gal in Chestemere then carefully drive the back way to Langdon to pickup some new Young Living essential oils. I was praying the 6 chairs and table did not blow out the back as I drove but it was so dark I would never notice, but back home at 8 I found all was there ;). Unload all of that and the groceries and time to get a drink and snack.. whew! I gave the kids set another coat of poly before updating the blog & bed. ;)
