Diploma test

Time to get Britt off to her test with some toast and coffee, she was even out the door early. Time to get the vanity put together and staged. Of course no project goes without one trial, this one was the darn painter tape sticking to mirror. Grrrrr an olfa knife was my bff for next half hour but eventually I was able to get it temp put together and snap some pictures.

Next it was time to get the cupcake stand scrubbed up as well as the two end turning night stands. Britt had lunch after the test at her new fav ha out pjs and then missed last class with promises of riding. This took allot of prodding as the kid is sacked but eventually she got out there. She asked me to video her dressage pattern even. A fellow stopped for the last water tote and was interested in checking out her fancy riding but Bird was now done. While she ate her snack, Britt and I went over to give Pepper a test run bareback and in a halter and B had home working much to his chagrin. Clearly he thinks he is retired. He went much better having had the shot so hope it lasts long enough for Sheldon to try him at polox. On the way back she jumped on Switch and rode her around a bit then to the round pen where I put Bird I and they mowed for a couple hours.

Kaylin and Lexi arrived for supper and a visit. Britt had fell asleep but got up to join us with a four dog pack walk. I cooked Kaylin's favorite sausage and coconut rice. Once we had finished up and Britt had done Kaylin's nails while I was cooking, they went out to clean Ks truck as well as a tidy to B's too, good job sisters. Gail popped out as they were finishing up. I had supper cleaned up with a lunch to go so put top coat on the cupcake stand I had sanded before K arrived. Gail stayed to visit while Britt fell back asleep on the couch. Both Kaylin's and Gail set off for their respective homes just after 8. Good to have you out my lovely. Tomorrow miss Shaina arrives home. Been awhile since I have seen her smile face other than snap chat. She has had a blast mopeding and hitchhike get around Oahu. She loved swimming with a herd of sea turtles and hit many beaches. More stories will be sure to be told once she gets home.

Time to try my new paint, the cupcake table went from brown stain the pretty parchment and then I started distressing even. I had to step out and enjoy the sunset when Sheldon messaged if I remembered what I was doing 25 year ago tonight and what the weather was like. It was just like tonight. We had the best weather we although I am not sure if it was as dry then.
