Sleep in Thursday for Britt added to a slow start but eventually she got off to school, Travis and Sheldon filled with coffee and toast were off to start the mezzanine project and I went out to poly all the table tops.
The day was overcast but climbing above 5. I refilled the mineral/salt tub for the ponies who have been happy to rest and eat the rolled out bale. The fellows came in for hot lunch and were soon back out enjoying the mild temperatures for working.
I put another coat of poly on then began a new rustic project, an old window I repaired. Chip away old paint and caulk, sand, scrub, dry and paint first coat!
After supper we watched
American Sniper, based on a true story which was sad. Britt got home from work after 9 putting in another hard day of school/work.
I forgot to mention that Miss Kaylin has accepted a promotion at work, taking on lead of operations. It will be a new challenge for her taking her off the floor doing makeovers which she loves but will be a pay increase but add benefits which is really great. Congrats Lovey!
I also forgot to post a few pics of their snowboarding day yesterday.
Congrats to Kaylin on her promotion! Looks like the project is progressing well for day 1.
