1016 - even colder

Day 1016 was even colder to start -25 but got up to... -14! then back to -25 with an even colder wind chill, this crazy freeze is getting brutal. Time to light a fire and it ran all day! As I was checking mail etc I got one that offered Ralph back to us after his owners have parted ways. He will come home tomorrow, Britt is thrilled. Craig stopped out in the morning to go over our financial investments with a coffee and some chuckles of course.

Sheldon helped me assemble the jumbo blackboard and once done I snapped staging photos to post. It sold in not very long.

Next project was sand, scrub, remove metal bands (with Sheldon help), fill holes, scrub and again and after dry putting first coat of grey on this large octagonal coffee table.

Shaina and Jenna putzed around making breakfast and coffee then late grilled cheese at 230 before heading in to work for 4. Britt was home after school to change and head back to work her last 2 hour shift at 5:30. She stayed for a quick tan after and was home by 8 to work on homework.

Facebook had issues on the auction that closed yesterday so it was extended and closed tonight. Many pieces are sold but there are many to go.

Sheldon took a bale out for the frozen ponies and I ran them out the last of the minerals/salt mix. In my bare feet in crocs, bad idea, the short run left them froze! After the yummy supper I made Sheldon picked up Darren and they were off to town to first buy a table saw he had been wanting then meet other buddies for wings and beer. I went back out and put 2nd coat  and black accents on the coffee table before he returned at 10 with a hot tea. As in the unmentioned daily chores like cleaning and laundry, the shop to has chores of putting away my items to keep neat, sweeping and washing brushes and dishes, updating the stock sheet with paint details, searching for more stock and posting on various sites. Always tasks to keep one busy before a relaxing game of candy crush or wee peruse on Pinterest!
