H wanted out after 1 am. The winds were blowing like crazy. When I woke after 8, there was a pretty good covering of snow out and it was -7. I made coffee and got to work on blog and tutorials. When S got up he had a coffee and apple as running late. Off he went to church. He had to brush off snow going and after coming out of church.
I headed out and put a 3rd coat of stain on the tops. B arrived after 10:30 to feed Cooper then inside to peruse her phone. Back inside for me I started cleaning my tall cabinet.
Back from church, S brought chai teas XOXO. He relaxed on the bed reading until I moved to his tall cabinet. Then we both worked together to purge, sort and clean. This led to our nightstands. Britt headed back to her “ rented room” at 3:30. Once we finished up our purging, sorting and cleaning, I put on a pot of hamburger soup for supper. Time for a break and a cold beer. We have had a 5 day hiatus on all liquor other than coffee creamer which basically is tasty sugar.
The snow continued to fall softly all day covering everything and about 2 inches. This is nothing like Nova Scotia or even Medicine Hat but we will take it. The soup was perfect for a cold snowy day. B was back before 6. The Grammy's entertained us for the next 3 1/2 hours. Dave arrived just as they were ending. The drive down was treacherous. He brought his stall mats and equipment today and will head back for horses tomorrow. He and B along with Cooper were off by 10. S and I wrapped up the evening with a couple Car Masters until he fell asleep. I then read for a short while.
