Photo scanning starts

There was a fantastic sunrise when I let H out after 8. I fell back asleep with us not waking till after 10!! It was sunny out and would turn out to be a warm plus 6 day. There was a nice cover of snow when we got home last night but it slowly is melting away. I got laundry underway after feeding Har with a coffee. The UFA petrol guy stopped out to OK the fuel tank. I popped the tree together S had brought to the house before we left for Oyen. It does not seem like a festive holiday :(

I did some marketing quick. The pink ruler that was sold over the weekend did not fit in Kaylin’s car Sunday night. The gal messaged today we will wait until after Christmas to pick up. Britt and her pets arrived. She fed Bird and trimmed some feet outside since so nice out. S put 4 new fancy bulbs in the deck seating area to sequence with the barn ones and the Christmas lights.

I started scanning photos of Dad. This takes time and was a learning curve to get settings right. I have many photos which are amazing memories. Britt was back in working a bit on the puzzle. She asked if we needed groceries so we loaded up and ran to town. I picked up a bottle of wine and a mani/pedi gift certificate for Sharon for her fantastic Harley care. We all grabbed some groceries and cat litter/food. B also dropped a parcel at post office. We grabbed a baileys latte at Tim’s on route home. Not bad but $$!

B made Christmas crack while I continued the photo scanning. I threw on instant pot short ribs. Sheldon made a pot of mashed potatoes to go with. The ribs were very tasty and will be a repeat recipe. Note we substituted beef stock for red wine. B’s crack was a tasty dessert treat after. Not long after she and her pets were on their way. S washed up the pots and pans as I continued photos. Sports were S’s evening entertainment. I downloaded some of S’s Palm springs photos hoping to get a blog post up. It has been almost 3 weeks since last one. I had a hot tub soak. This has been almost 3 weeks too other than the 1 night with Shaina in PS.
