Another plus zero day

Lexi was the one waking me at 5:30 am to go out for a bathroom break. This of course woke H who I put in the garage. I had put Lex in the kennel but she rumbled (her little growly request) until I got her and brought back to bed. We all then slept in till I let them out at 9. Coffee, marketing and dog/Sheldon breakfasts up next.

S went and let the cats out mid morning as I was writing a Hometalk post for the custom white dresser. He was back to his laptop in big brown and I finished the sunset jewelry box tutorial, posted it and shared all over. I then moved on to writing another Hometalk post; this one for the lotus case. Before lunch S cleaned the ash out of the fireplace and began filter Friday.

After polishing the table hardware it was time for lunch and the news. After lunch S had a nap on the couch in the sunshine while I sat in big brown reading my book. Seeing it was lovely 0 degrees full on sunshine out I made up the horse feed and S and I went out to feed. S joined us after heading to the gate and back for a walk.

Back in the house I was back to reading, S tried his book but was soon back to nap time. Today Kaylin, Nathan, Shaina and friend Emily fly to LA for the w/e to take in a concert, travel safe!! As it got darker as the sun was setting after 4 I went out and put the hardware on the table after sourcing a new screw then fed H. I scrubbed up her cheek then in to make supper. S had started a fire but had a back draft of smoke in the house requiring a few doors open to clear the air.

We enjoyed out supper with the news then he switched to Flames game and I to the computer to write todays blog. During second intermission we went out for a soak in the hot tub. What a difference with no wind and -2 temps. A rinse and back to game for S and computer work for me till Britt stopped out for a short visit and piece of pie. S and I used a towel to lift H while she stretched her neck hoping to help with the limping. B and Coop were off at 8. S continued hockey night in front of the fire while I finished my book in bed at midnight.
