Waxing the freshly painted bench was my morning project. I did it all in pieces then assembled. Not sure if that was the best idea as lots of juggling and finger prints but I got it done by noon. I did run in at 11 to make a smoothie and took some to princess Shaina in her slumber room.
look at my floors, the struggle is real with spring mud
She did join me for lunch at noon before she jetted off to town to train Sharon at the gym this time at 1 then run her boot camp this evening. I went back to the garage, assembled the chalk board backs on the large window frame and the vintage gold one.
Next order of business after tidying up was to scrub the 2 new stools and the gate leg table stored away. I mixed up some white milk paint and let it sit while I stripped the leaf of the table. The shellac lifted quickly. Then I moved on to sanding. The top is lovely hardwood but I will wait till nice weather to do this to the whole top.
I put a coat of the milk paint on the stools then headed out to toss a bale to the ponies. I chipped more snow to the fire pit. Such a nice bright day with a high of 7, it is melting slow and steady.
Can you see the fire pit? nope
B was home around 6:30 for supper then she ventured out to check horses to find Bird had a cut so washed it up and dewormed the cats for me. She also washed up Cooper's bed after the mud accumulated. I finished the Tray Blog Post and published it. B&C were off to the city at 9. The shelf lady cancelled the order.. so much for sentimental lol
