busy road

Fog was socked in when I awoke at 7:30 and hung around off and on for most of the day. I saw a lady posting for a kids dresser and after checking the recent black one I offered it to her. She asked about painting a crib and in pink and just so happens I have the nursery paint from Fusion that I offered to her as well.

While I waited for her to pick it up at noon I put the first coat of poly on the pink dresser, added black wax to Olivia's birthday frame and added a fun graphic and got it packaged up to go.

The tray was ready for handles so I measured them up with an easy new way, drilled the holes lickety split and added felt pads under for the finishing touches.

I ran to the gate and opened it as there is a few stops today starting with the dresser and paint picked up at noon. I just finished leftover lunch when the next lady arrived to drop off her dining table and a kids desk for custom painting. While we were going over color and finish plans the next in line text she was going to pop out by 2.

She picked up her jewelry box and dresser and dropped off 2 more stools to be painted like the boho one she purchased.

Whew what a busy garage door today. The 2nd poly coat was put on the dresser and once dry added the hardware back and it is ready for pick up tomorrow. Then it was time to vacuum the main floor. I literally have to block off time to clean the house as my focus always goes to projects ;)

Shaina arrived for her Wednesday night dinner after 5 just as the sun was trying to burn thru at plus 4. I made us goulash. The UPS delivery truck arrived soon after she did, yet another one on the busy mucky road. Shaina was off down the trail for her 6:30 boot camp.

I headed out and scrubbed the little desk and table. I even managed to get the beastly top up on my paint table too. Then back in to watch more Troy while marketing/blogging. I ended the evening with a soak in the tub watching Troy then crawled into freshly changed bedding to finish an episode before turning out the lights.
