cold weather snap starts to roll in

I was up and hiking thru the snow in housecoat and crocs, NOT the best shoes for that note to self with miss Lola just after 8. She is really not loving this confinement. The other 2 people were sleeping in, one longer then the other. Eventually one got coffee rolling and the other was up a few hours later.

New snow started to fall, Britt donned her covies and too Lola out for another walk. She then was off to catch Bird and I met her in the barn to trim her feet up. Birds that is ;) The wind was starting to pick up and it got increasingly colder from the high of -2. QE2 has a road advisory so Britt may have to stay the night.

I worked on getting a few things ready to paint this week and added jute to my sea glass jars.

Time to jump in the shower before heading over to Goslings around 3. Miss Brynleigh is 4 months already. The hat I had Amanda crochet fit her perfectly.

By 4:30 we were headed back home. Britt had stayed back and kindly took Lola out for a quick walk. She cleaned her ears and gave her the meds just before she left for Olds at 6. Leftovers with a side of KD was supper but I did make turtle brownies for dessert which she waited to enjoy before heading out in the now cold dark wind. Sheldon rolled out a bale for the horses while KD cooked then was back to his sports Sunday. I took Lola out for her last walk of the day with Diego and we blew around the yard for a good little jaunt. Poor girl, she so wants to run her perimeter check. For those asking, she wa spayed and had her double dew claws removed, and has an ear infection ;/
