Table not done ;( but patios are ;)

I was awake before 6 today as Sheldon got ready for work. Wow, you sure can get lots done when days are so long and sunny. I worked on reposting many of my larger items, did accounting, fed the dogs, let out the horses, helped Shaina again with some itinerary emails, removed hardware on a dresser and repaired some drawers on another, worked up and weeded around the potatoes then hilled them up and put on the sprinkler on them, put two more coats on the table top with a light sanding between which was a bad idea.. The paint crackled again leaving peaks that showed bits of  cream.. Not really flattering.. Had they not it would have been finished but oh no.. Time to walk away.!!

The landscaper went to work today eventually finishing the sand/polymer on the patio and was starting on the fire pit when his buddy arrived. Britt and I caught Bird and Switch, conditioned and practiced and then I reached Switch's mane before a hosing. These two grazed the shop area for a bit.. All the above was done before noon!!

Britt organized bottles to take to town before her 3 pm work shift then hit the basement to get ready. I  tried sanding the table to remove the issues but it just did not work so time to grab a new 80 grit pad and get busy.. 45 minutes later I had 1/2 the top sanded down to reveal the inlaid wood.. I guess the table wanted to have a stained top.. Could have saved myself about 20 hours of tinkering around and just did from the get go but I sure got lots of experimenting in.

I was working on more horse gear washing when the boss lady landscapers arrived to check out the work, she brought me a Starbucks raspberry hibiscus ice tea, yummy thank you! At the same time (3) the Paetz family rolled in dropping Asher and Ada to hang with me for the afternoon. We took off on a hike in the 23 sunshine to see their horses who hustled over to meet them. Asher sat on Daisy for the longest time while Ada tried Hawk for a wee bit. Time to head to the A/C house for snacks and beverages. It was then back out to ride and visit the horses yet again.

these two are awesome ponies

 Asher loves to ride
he was determined to ride them all but started with these 3 as I had my hands full wrangling horses kids and camera! ;)

Miss Daisy has a lump on her cheek and puffy above both eyes.. what gives??

 the patios are done~!!!

Sheldon pulled in around 4:30, had a snack and a nap as a customer arrived to pick up the white nightstand. We loaded it in the back of a mustang convertible hahaha.

The landscapers finished up the projects, loaded all equipment and were out of here at 5:30. Craig and Amanda were back for the kids at 5:45 and off to soccer (I had him ready to go of course) Sheldon and I jumped in the truck with dump trailer and were off to town too hoping to hit the dump but when passing at 6:10 it was closed ;/ so off to post office to pick up the dryer drum. We stopped at the Indian restaurant for a yummy meal then picked up this beauty before heading home.

Got it unloaded then I fed KD her 10 day pill dosage and let the 2 BFF's out by the shop. Britt pulled in soon after around 9, home from work.
