project time & Coco gets coned

Wednesday, OMG another amazing day in the high 20's - 27 actually. Britt off to school with Shaina off to work for 10. I spent the morning painting the retro dresser grey. Pumpkin client stopped bringing custom work for me too.
I painted an old barn board and cut in 3 to fancy up a horseshoe hook Britt and her team won at a recent tourny. The other Dad is getting plates to add with the details, should look awesome and give it more pizzaz to put on a wall
plan to tack on with actual horse shoe nails, then a plate with info added, what you think?
After second coat applied I took the dogs for a nice long walk in the sunshine. You just cant beat the sun and lush green grass, ok the trees changing leaves makes fall seem close but they are not bare so all is good.

Time to poly the grey dresser, and then make supper. Dam home made chili powder.. it heated up the pan yet again lol. May have to leave for the Prince. Shaina was home after 7 to join me eating the fire breathing sustenance. The rest of the evening I worked on marketing, online and planning what to paint for this open house.

Thursday I was up early and out the door, dental cleaning at 9. Britt slept in for her spare but had to drop trash at the dump on way in :-) I ran errands restocking groceries and paint supplies and scored a few things at the take it or leave it. Sadly that place is a mess again and threats of that will cause it to close ;(
The day was dreary and cloudy and did not get very warm (22 but never felt like it), boooo but I did get to spend time in the garage light sanding and poly coating a few more coats.

Gail stopped out with some milk bottles and a chai, THANKS missy!! XOXO we had a good visit getting ideas for my open house and her new Stella & Dot venture. She also brought a dog "cone" for miss Coco who licks off her healing meds, no more!
Britt got home after working after school and joined me for a late bowl of chili (yep still hot!) We got Coco all fixed up and in her party hat for the night.
