714 - grey day but warm weather

Day 714 high the forecast high of 11 but was overcast most of the day but having no wind made up for lack of sunshine. I was up early again as Britt rode the bus. I watched a PVR Nashville then got busy. I had to attach wall hooks to my growth rulers as the first one was sold and being picked up at 11:30. Why did I not think of this years ago, looks prettier than our old base board measuring stick!
I waxed and buffed the bottom portion of the coffee table and once dry brought in for staging photos.

Craig and Asher popped out at 2 to borrow the truck again so helped me unload the chair and horse feed before they headed back to town. Travis stopped out to pickup bags of minerals and salt for Mom as he was going back home to Oyen.

Back in the creative moments garage I started work on the larger mirror testing out the 2 white chalk paints. I went with the Cece vintage white as it is a creamier white and will go well with the glaze. The Cece cans are plastic, interesting and the paint seems thicker than the van Gogh.

When Britt arrived home on the bus it was sprinkling a wee bit but not for long. Sharon and Shelby picked her and Bird up at 5 and they went to RJ to ride getting home at 7.

Sheldon was home soon after. He helped me load the grey dresser in my car as I am meeting a buyer tomorrow night in the city on the way to polox. I put a 2nd coat on the mirror then made a salad to go with spaghetti for supper. Sheldon did some toilet tank repairs on the basement toilet then spent rest of time playing candy crush including during supper. Clearly can say he is addicted to that game!
After our late supper we had a surprise phone call from "down under", miss Shaina called to say hi!! Not long and the traveler will be heading back north and there seems to be some nervous team mates all vying to play with her not against her in the upcoming polox season :-) She also told us a funny story while at the man from snowy river competition, there was a big poster of her crash there and this place was miles away from the tournament it happened at. Sheldon told her at least she has some fame while there.

Rain and crappy windy weather arrived at 8 making for a miserable evening outdoors, yuck! Come on spring!
