It was a chilly morning when I woke up to a temperature of -24 degrees Celsius, with a wind chill making it feel even colder, a whopping -29 degrees Celsius! Poor horses! On a brighter note, it’s Matt’s birthday today, and we wish you a very happy birthday, Matt! As usual, I started our day with a cup of coffee in bed while perusing socials, S then had breakfast and headed off to church. I took the opportunity to clean out the fancy glassware and crystal cupboard, and I got rid of quite a few glasses and crystal pieces that I no longer needed. I donated them to B and Debby and folks on the free site.
Grama sent this photo captioned "hello from our resort" -
I think it might be only all inclusive for 1 though :)
Nathan sent this Daddy daycare video
Next I rearranged our daily glassware and mugs cupboard and offered some mugs to Mom K, who had the same hand-pottery mugs. I washed up some chunkier, larger new mugs because we need bigger ones for our Nespresso lattes. I was just finishing up and posting my
Hometalk post for the brown end table when S pulled into the garage before noon. He also grabbed a few groceries after church, which usually includes a new gallon of milk that he drinks weekly.
Lunch was sparse then S returned to working on the taxes, and I was moved onto the fancy dishes cupboard. I have a lot in there I purged too. B was out after 2, having picked up Ada and dropped her off at her baseball camp on her way out. A and C are in different towns with the other kids. She fed, fluffed hay, put a second blanket on the shivering Bird, loaded her crystal treasures, and was off for home.
I helped S with the tax information he needed while he worked on purging and sorting. We jumped into the car and headed to town at 3:30. Before we picked up Ada, I stopped at Dollarama to look for some syrup pumps, no luck while S deposited bison money at the bank. Ada was picked up and dropped off safely at home with a couple of bags of treats. We grabbed Subway for supper and headed back to the ranch to eat it with a cold beer.
I finally started sprouting the seeds I ordered months ago.
I’ve been really slow on my blog posts lately. I finally finished yesterday’s post and published it before 6 p.m., with only one picture. I uploaded four missed Renn videos on Tuesday's post, so you should check them out. I wrote today’s post and was working on it when Grama and Papa messaged me on WhatsApp. S had gone to the TV room after eating for hockey night. I took the TV down so that all four of us could be in the conversation. Grama said this is the best she’s seen Papa’s health-wise since he was admitted to the hospital. YEAH!! He also hasn’t had a roommate for a day, which made it even more relaxing.
I relaxed in bed watching Morning show. Again when the hockey watcher was up after 10 we watched a Bad Monkey episode and a Shrinking :) Goodnight all.
