I woke up abruptly at 4 am, remembering that Stella had been left outside. I sure hope she has found shelter in the barn in this deep freeze. Har went out at 5:45 am then we all slept until 8 am. It was a foggy -18 degree day, with soft snow beginning to fall shortly after. I delivered our coffees in bed, and we both engaged in some reading, with S finishing one library book.
Our crafty little girl making this beauty yesterday at "school"
After lunch, I repotted a couple of plants, vacuumed out and changed the bedding in Har’s kennel while S brushed and bathed her. Since I hadn’t seen Stella all day, I donned my winter gear and went to find her napping in the meadow. However, I had her follow me back to the garage to eat.
S hit the couch for a long nap, while I returned to work on the bison information email I had begun yesterday. I believe having this email, along with an email list, would simplify the ordering process compared to texting each individual. However, this might be just my OCD speaking. Here’s my progress:
After he up, S went outside at 3:30 to push snow with his skid steer and shovel front sidewalk. I worked on the last two tutorials left to finish and then took a break to finish my library book lying on the bed. S came back in and joined me reading. I cooked up a HF shrimp bulgur salad bowl for supper. S rolled a bale close to the house seeing it is getting even colder.
The second 4 Nations hockey game started at 6, capturing S's attention for night. Since the meal was smaller we enjoyed a piece cherry dessert. I removed my layers of gel and redid them in pale pink for Valentine Day. This took over an hour but saves me $$ and a trip to town.
B was out as usual and off as soon as done. S was now in the bedroom watching hockey on the big TV so I made us a yogurt bowl and joined him to finish today's blog post. I started a new library book before calling it a night.
