Today is Sheldon's 59th birthday. Happy cake day! He was off to the rodeo grounds after a couple coffees and a bowl of cereal. I headed over to get lashes filled after 9. When back home it was time to catch up on marketing and accounting. Then a visit with Sharon who was back from lessons.
I posted the growth ruler tutorial S was back around 1. He ate his fav KD and sausage for lunch. I gave H a scrub in the 28 degree heat. S headed back to town to the rodeo grounds. Time to endure the now 29 heat and go gardening. Then I prepped veggies and such for supper. B arrived with Cooper, we loaded H and were off to the vets. They had a long hour checkup and vaccinations. Har is now ready to cross the border in September.
B quickly grabbed some horse feed and we headed back to the ranch. Kaylin, Nathan, Renn, Shaina and Dave were all there to surprise Sheldon with a birthday evening. He had arrived just before us. He had a shower after jumping in a water trough earlier to cool off.
The Calgary crew and mountain dwellers were all off around 9. B took the merc as her car needs new brakes. Poor Renn does NOT enjoy her car seat or car rides. She cried for an hour both ways. Hope this improves.
