Hanging with the Paetz kids

After a usual morning start I worked on the jewelry box to get it close to finished after starting laundry. A darker blue was blended, then a stencil painted on the top. Once dry it was lightly sanded and clear waxed. S got ready for his journey north. I left him napping on the couch. He will go check on the kitties and be sure Harley has her bathroom break before he leaves around 3. It was another cold -11 day.

I was off to town to watch the Paetz kids at 12:30 swinging thru Tim's to grab a chai tea on my way. I was entertained by this busy crew for the next 6+ hours. The two littles are most entertaining with lots of stories and imagination. The two bigger ones home after school are growing so fast and such great big brother and sister. A and C were running late (Craig chatty, who knew?) so I made them eggo waffles for a quick supper. 

They made it home after 7 and after quick visit I was off driving thru A&W to grab a burger and yam fries on my way home. Britt was already there having let Harley out of her kennel and she too had A&W. We had a short visit and she was off just after 8. I did some marketing, a bit of buffing on the jewelry box then finally into bed to eat my gingerbread muffin and read some of my book.
