Sheldon ventured out to push snow just because he likes to play with his toys. B did have to go fetch Cooper who headed down the road with Lola and with the skid steer coming his way, he was not even coming close to pass it to come back to the house.
these 2 pics are S's and he wanted to share what his snow shovel looks like at the end of this busy season :)
Seeing it was so nice and she had noticed feet needed done she suited up and went and caught Bird and Roo. I was now done the dresser so went out and got busy trimming their feet. They got play time in the arena (thanks S for cleaning the poop piles the rascally horses left after they managed to get into the arena awhile back and left their mark) which they loved too. S did some work on the tractor door and kindly hauled the wheelbarrow of shavings to the pit.
The snow has all the gates covered so rather then trying to walk them back to the far gate where B brought out the first 2 I hauled my gear out and did Hawk and front half of Daisy right by the waterer. B even gave it a go to start her trimming career. It helped as my muscles were fatiguing and S has headed back in to the big comfy chair to "rest".
We finished up around 4 with the sun still blazing. These clear sky sunny days even with loads of snow are so pretty. Prince wanted tacos for supper so he ran to town to get fixings. Britt and Cooper were off home going thru Chestermere to drive by a couple more places and grab groceries there to see the amenities.
Back from town, we whipped up delicious tacos. While resting in the big comfy chair after his feast, S saw BOGO blizzards at DQ on Facebook. Back into the truck and back to town to get us each our favorite banana split blizzard!
Back home again.. I took mine to soak my aching muscles in a hot tub and he was watching hockey. He had a tub as I made the draw for another giveaway on my Creative Moments page. The lucky winner is Stout's niece, yeah!
